The Two Bucket Method. It's easy to put swirl marks into your paintwork during the wash process. The two bucket method greatly reduces this risk. Fill one bucket with the soapy wash water and one with clean water. Dunk your wash mitt and wash over the vehicle. Then dunk the mitt into the clean rinse water, rubbing the mitt over the grit guard, separating any trapped grit particles from your wash mitt allowing them to sink to the bottom of the bucket. Squeeze out your mitt, then start again!
